Automatic deletion
Files are automatically removed 12 hours after upload. Download your results before then. Files may be removed sooner to free storage; conversion history stays available.
File privacy.
Temporary by design.
Files are private to your session and deleted after 12 hours.
No accounts. No advertising trackers. No account needed
Your browser stores a random session key. It lets you see and download your own files. The server stores a hash of this key. Keep it private: anyone with the key can access your jobs.
Delete at any time
Use the delete button to remove completed files immediately, or cancel work in progress. Removed files cannot be recovered. History remains so you can see the result of your conversions.
HOW IT WORKS
Storage and access
What stays in your browser
Only your anonymous session key and conversion preferences are stored locally. Selected files remain in memory until you upload them. Your conversion history comes from the service when you return with the same session key.
What reaches the service
When you click Convert, your filename, chosen format and options are sent to the conversion service. File contents are uploaded to its temporary storage, which may use an external storage provider. Conversion runs on our engines. We don’t send files to external conversion providers.
What we keep
Conversion metadata includes filenames, file sizes, timestamps, chosen formats, and job results. Job history and aggregate operational statistics are retained. The 12-hour timer applies to file contents, not history. Finished input files can be deleted sooner. Download availability also depends on storage capacity.
Downloads and your session key
Download links include your session key so the server can verify access. Don’t share or publish these links. The site uses a no-referrer policy to avoid sending the key to other sites.
Private windows and cleared storage
Opening another browser or clearing local storage creates a new anonymous session. We can’t restore your old session key. If browser storage is blocked, download your files before closing the page.
No surprise analytics
There are no advertising trackers or analytics SDKs in this app. The live statistics on the converter are aggregate service activity, never a feed of other people’s filenames.
